
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.6ins high, 6.9ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure with a religious theme which features Daniel with two lions,
resting on an oblong base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.
This piece represents Daniel in the lions den. Maker's marks painted to the underside.

A few paint losses to robe.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to David's left arm.
