
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 7.3ins high, 2ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure which features a winged cherub
with a quiver of arrows on his back, holding two doves, stood on a square base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good.
Some small flakes to base rim and
one to cherub's right hand.
A few paint losses to quiver.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to cherub's right leg and top and front of base.
RESTORATION. Wings of the dove on his head restored.
