
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.1ins high, 5.7ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery spill vase which features a swan with corn decoration to the spill,
resting on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
Shallow chip with associated hairline to rim on the side.
Some small flakes to rim spill.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to cobalt glaze;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the swan's neck.
