Large Staffordshire Seated Cat Figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 10.6ins high, 6.3ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a cat, seated on an oval base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Abrasion to tip of right ear.

A few paint losses markings.

KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to front of base;

touch mark to one ear;

shrinkage line along the mold join to either side of the head.
