
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 4.3ins high, 3.5ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure which features a ram, recumbent on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration. Small chips to bocage and flowers.
Two small flakes to base.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray green glaze to the ram;
kiln grit caught in the glaze to the reverse of base.
