
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.8ins high, 7.5ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery clock group with a royalty theme which features a lion and a unicorn
supporting a crown, stood on an oval base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good.
Minor abrasions to lions tail.
Some rubbing to gilt;
flecks of stray green glaze to the unicorn.
RESTORATION. Remodelled tip to unicorn's tail.
Unicorn leg reglued and join retouched.
Filled chip to side of base.
Retouching to lions muzzle.
