
Circa 1890. 12.6ins high, 9.8ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Alfred Renoleau French Palissy Majolica wall plaque which features an eel, fish and shellfish on a leaf.
Colouration: green, cream, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Alfred Renoleau pottery.
CONDITION: Good.
Small flake to one fish fin.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to areas around the rim.
RESTORATION. Remodelled leaf stem handle.
Minor filled chips to eel's tail.
Retouched flakes one fishs' mouth.
