George Jones Majolica Butterfly Watch Stand

Victorian, circa 1874. 5.9ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3.9ins depth. George Jones Majolica watch stand which features a Jack in the Pulpit flower and a butterfly.

Colouration: green, ochre, black, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

English diamond registration mark for the date 10/12/1874.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Some small flakes to edge of the butterfly's wings

and a couple to the leaves.

RESTORATION. Remodelled tip to spathe and spandix.

Filled chip to tip of one base leaf.
