
Circa 1900. 8.7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Jerome Massier Majolica flower holder which features three colourful garden birds, perched around a well.
Colouration: cream, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Jerome Massier pottery.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze;
shrinkage crack underneath the top bird, where it rests on the wooden beam.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to bird at top.
