Small Majolica Basket with Eggs and Snake

Victorian, circa 1880. 2.8ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Majolica basket which features three eggs in a nest with snake on handle.

Colouration: brown, green, white, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the exterior;

over glazed shrinkage lines to the handle and exterior;

small firing pits to the eggs.
