
Victorian, circa 1870. 9.4ins high, 9.4ins wide, 1.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features girl fishing for shrimp. Colouration: brown, green, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Slight wear and some flakes to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior;
slight stain to the sky on the left;
