Small Majolica 'Trinkets' Basket

Victorian, circa 1870. 3.5ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.6ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica trinket dish which features a wicker basket with 'TRINKETS' written on the front.

Colouration: ochre, pink, brown, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front of basket;

glaze run to the blue, green and brown glaze;

small firing pits to the interior.
