George Jones Majolica Calla Lily Jardiniere

Victorian, circa 1872. 9.1ins high, 10.3ins wide, 10.3ins depth. George Jones Majolica jardinière which features calla lilies.

Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1825 11'.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Minor wear to rim interior from use.

Some limescale deposit to interior at the bottom, from use.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze pop to interior.

Reglued shallow chip to base rim (almost invisible).
