
Victorian, circa 1869. 6.7ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Minton Majolica vase which features flowers above a basket weave trellis.
Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, white, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1316'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.
CONDITION: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along the mold join;
uneven glaze application to the interior ground.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
Retouched chips and flakes to petals, leaves and base.
