Circa 1880. 2.6ins high, 3ins wide, 2.2ins depth. George Dreyfus Majolica egg cup holder which features a chick with an egg shell on its back.

Colouration: ochre, white, turquoise, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Dreyfus pottery.

CONDITION: Good. Small flake to beak.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to rim.
