Holdcroft Majolica Floral Jardiniere

Victorian, circa 1875. 8.9ins high, 8.9ins wide, 8.9ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jardinière which features a basket weave exterior

with dog rose blossom and leaves.

Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Holdcroft pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some flakes to feet.

Some wear to interior and rim.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the feet and interior.
