
Victorian, circa 1869. 13ins high, 7.1ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher
with lid which features dancing medieval figures and a jester finial.
Colouration: green, grey, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1231'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Small flake to thumb piece.
Pewter lid does not sit exactly flush with the jug on one side.
