
Victorian, circa 1870. 13.4ins high, 5.5ins wide, 8.7ins depth. Brownfield Majolica jug/pitcher which features a cockatoo, with branch handle.
White ground version. Colouration: white, ochre, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Brownfield pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '2614 6/79'.
CONDITION: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the ochre glaze.
RESTORATION. Cracks to branch perch on base, claws and tail feathers stabilised and retouched.
