
Victorian, circa 1870. 2.4ins high, 8.3ins wide, 10.2ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica strawberry server, creamer & sugar which features strawberries, blossoms and leaves.
Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 09/07/1869. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.
CONDITION: Server: Very good. No restoration. Almost nil wear. KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the rim;
a few touch marks.
Creamer: Very good. No restoration. Some small flakes to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the spout interior.
Sugar: Very good. No restoration. Small flake to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: Flecks of stray coloured glaze to interior.
