Minton Majolica Two Handled Daffodils Vase

Victorian, circa 1869. 6.7ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Minton Majolica vase which features flowers (daffodils and another white flower)

above a basket weave trellis.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, white, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1316'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1868.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along the mold join.

RESTORATION. Retouched chips and flakes to petals and leaves.
