Minton Majolica Oak and Acorn Vase

Victorian, circa 1865. 4.7ins high, 6.3ins wide, 6.7ins depth. Minton Majolica vase which features acorns & oak leaves.

Colouration: ochre, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1226'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1865.

CONDITION: Generally good. RESTORATION. Sections of rim and base reglued and join retouched.
