
Victorian, circa 1880. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Argenta Majolica oyster plate which features scallop shells, coral and wave edges.
Colouration: cream, pink, purple, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.
Bears a pattern number, 'M 2948'.
CONDITION: Good.
Two small flakes to rim.
Slight wear to front.
KILN EFFECTS: staining to the reverse and slightly stained crazing to one shell.
RESTORATION. One stabilised and retouched hairline.
