Pair George Jones Majolica Diamond Shaped Vases

Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 6.9ins high, 3.9ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Pair of George Jones Majolica vases which feature birds flying over pink flowers.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, turquoise, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3430 T'.

Condition

CONDITION: Vase 1: Generally good.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to base.

Vase 2: Good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: overglazed bruise inside the rim.
