George Jones Majolica Floral Cheese Dome and Stand

Victorian, circa 1870. 7.5ins high, 6.5ins wide, 6.5ins depth. George Jones Majolica cheese keep which features daisy-like flowers and leaves.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '5223'.

Slight wear to the high points of the molding.

RESTORATION. Three hairlines to side stabilised and retouched.

Base: Generally good.

Wear to interior.

Staining from use.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
