
Victorian, circa 1875. 3.5ins high, 9.1ins wide, 8.7ins depth. Brownfield Majolica dish which features a basket with a cat to the rim.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, brown, white, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Brownfield pottery. Bears a pattern number, '13310/76'.
CONDITION: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught inside causing piece to rattle.
RESTORATION. Filled and retouched chips to both ears.
Stabilised and retouched hairline and bruise to rim.
