Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre 'Geisha' Octagonal Bowl

Circa 1920. 6.75ins wide, 3.25ins high. Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre octagonal bowl, decorated with 'Geisha' or 'Angels' design to the exterior.

'Running Figures' pattern to the interior.

The foot rim decorated with 'Roseberry bead'.

Wedgwood 'Portland Vase' and 'WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND' printed gilt factory mark,

and painted pattern number Z4968, all to underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Pristine. No restoration. Almost nil wear to gilding. Almost nil wear to interior and exterior.

KILN EFFECTS: a few tiny glaze pops to the interior.

Bowl has a wonderful, resonant ring when struck.
