
Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 6.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery dogs which feature
a Jack Russell terrier, stood directly on the ground, no base.
Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.
A few paint losses to dog's head.
Gilt entirely rubbed away.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to dog's nose.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to dog's head and hind leg;
thin glaze application to dog's markings.
