Small Staffordshire Pottery Duck Tureen

Victorian, circa 1860. 3.7ins high, 5.9ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery tureen with cover which features a duck,

resting on an oval basketweave tureen base.

White and gilt version. Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Cover: Good.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the underside.

RESTORATION. Small rim section reglued and join retouched.

Base: Good.

KILN EFFECTS: slight staining to the interior.

RESTORATION. Two filled and retouched chips to rim.
