Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature spotted dalmatians (whippets decorated with spots!) with hares, stood on an oblong base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.
Flake to the reverse.
Slight abrasions to tip of hare's ears and dalmatian's left ear.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze and glaze running to the reverse.
Left facing: Good. No restoration.
Tight star-hairlines to the front of the base.
Small flake to hare's shoulder.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the front of base.
