Victorian, circa 1850. 3.9ins high, 7.1ins wide, 2.6ins depth.

Staffordshire Pottery porcellaneous figure which features a hound, recumbent on a plinth base.

Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Minor paint losses to muzzle and ear.

Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines to the ground and neck;

a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
