
Victorian, circa 1860. 10ins high, 7.5ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery cottage which features a thatched roof and a seated spaniel in the front porch, resting on a shaped base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Chip to reverse lower base edge.
A few paint losses to the ground.
KILN EFFECTS: missing section to shredded clay;
notable crazing;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the reverse of the roof knop.
