
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 7.1ins high, 5.9ins wide, 6.9ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery groups which feature a poodle and her two pups,
seated on a cobalt blue base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Left facing: Good. No restoration.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks around recumbent poodle;
firing holes to large poodle;
the cobalt blue glaze is matt in places, probably due to original mis-firing.
Right facing: Good. No restoration.
