Staffordshire Jackfield 'Chunky' Spaniel

Victorian, circa 1860. 11.8ins high, 9.4ins wide, 7.5ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a 'chunky' spaniel with front leg molded free, seated directly on the ground, no base. Jackfield black version. Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

Very good. No restoration. Flake to underside of dog's left front paw.

Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECT: touch mark to the dog's right front paw.
