Pair Staffordshire Russet and White 'Chunky' Spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 10.6ins high, 7.9ins wide, 6.3ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a chunky spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base. Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. Slight rubbing to gilt.

Slight wear to the reverse.

RESTORATION. OLD RESTORATION to under front paw. Only just visible when sitting upright.

Some minor retouched paint losses.

Left facing: Good. Slight rubbing to gilt.

Slight wear to the reverse.

RESTORATION. Minor retouching to paint losses.
