Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure which features a man leading a mule carrying baskets of fruit,
his dog follows behind, stood on a shaped base.
The piece is titled,
'JOLLY TRAVELLER' .
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Good.
Small flake to front of base.
KILN EFFECTS: a piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to title plaque.
RESTORATION. Retouching to paint losses to the green ground.
Remodelling to both donkey's ears and
to the two right hand sections of bocage.
