
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 9.6ins high, 6.5ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware watch holder which features a long case clock
with crowned figures on either side, stood on a rectangular base.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent holes to the underside.
CONDITION: Good.
Small chip to the reverse of the rim of watch holder.
Paint loss to the king's hair, not visible to the front.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the top of the base.
RESTORATION. King's right arm reglued and join retouched.
Remodelled finial to watch holder.
Retouched flake to finial.
