which features Jesus Christ on the cross with Mary and Saint John below, stood on a shaped base.
The piece is titled, 'INRI' .
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
This piece represents the Crucifixion of Christ.
The title, 'INRI', represents the Latin inscription which in English reads as "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews".
CONDITION: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: touch marks to the reverse.
RESTORATION. St John's right forearm remodelled.
Mary's thumb remodelled.
Filled chip to grass on pathway.
Right section of bocage is remodelled.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to Jesus' right wrist.
Mary's arms both reglued and joins retouched.
Left bocage branch reglued and join retouched.
