Circa 1870. 12.2ins high, 17.1ins wide, 3.5ins depth.

Barbizet French Palissy Majolica platter which features fish (including a pike), a snake, a lizard, a frog, insects, shellfish and leaves.

Colouration: green, blue, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

Small chips to fish

and one to flower.

Small flakes to the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the snake and lizard.
