
Early 20thC, circa 1920. Tallest is 11ins high, 7.5ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Pair of Bordalo Pinheiro Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall pockets which feature a bunch of turnips.
Colouration: green, cream, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Bordalo Pinheiro pottery. Bears a pattern number, '897'.
CONDITION: Wall pocket 1: Good. RESTORATION. Right hand leaf on rim reglued and join retouched.
Filled chips to turnips.
Filled chip to leaf in front-middle.
Wall pocket 2: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim and tip of one leaf.
