Colouration: turquoise, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

CONDITION: Cover: Very good. No restoration.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the finial.
Dish: Very good. No restoration.
Small flakes to base edge.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to interior rim, only present on interior.
Stand: Good.
RESTORATION: Sections of rim at one end reglued and joins retouched.
