Victorian, circa 1870. 5.7ins high, 8.7ins wide, 8.7ins depth.

George Jones Majolica compote which features a basket supported by bamboo legs.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior;

shrinkage cracks to the legs.

RESTORATION. One leg reglued and join retouched.

Filled chip to rim.
