
Victorian, circa 1862. 3.9ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Minton Majolica cup which features vine decoration to the exterior.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: green, pink, purple, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1862.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: a few small specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior;
overglazed shrinkage lines to three of the handles.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
