Minton Majolica Oriental Style Garden Seat

Victorian, circa 1866. 18.1ins high, 12.4ins wide, 12.4ins depth. Minton Majolica garden seat which features storks with oriental flowers and patterns.

Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, white, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1291'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1866.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Slight wear and flaking to the high points of the molding to the top.

Light scratches from use to the top.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to base rim.

Stabilised hairlines to the top.
