Victorian, circa 1870. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 0.8ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features a dog rose and scrollwork border.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '3403 A 5A'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front;

glaze run to the cobalt glaze;

a few tiny glaze pops to the border;

over glazed shallow chip to the rim.
