Choisy Majolica Rooster/Cockerel by Louis Carrier Belleuse

Circa 1880. 14.6ins high, 12.2ins wide, 6.9ins depth. Choisy Majolica vase which features a rooster stood in front of a stone wall.

Signed, 'LOUIS CARRIER-BELLEUSE' to the side of the base.

Colouration: brown, blue, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Choisy pottery. Bears a pattern number, '4569'.

CONDITION: Good.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to tail feathers.
