Majolica Oyster Plate with Fish Wells

Victorian, circa 1880. 10.6ins high, 10ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Majolica oyster plate which features six oyster wells moulded as fish.

Colouration: grey, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Some flakes to rim.

Slight wear and scratching to front.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze accumulation to the central well.
