
Victorian, circa 1870. 12ins high, 6.7ins wide, 6.3ins depth. Copeland Majolica vase which features six stylised foliate panels divided by ochre strapwork, each with a female mask molded in the centre.
Colouration: ochre, grey, puce, are predominant.
CONDITION: Good. Small flakes to noses.
Some small flakes to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the mask's forehead;
shallow firing crack to the handles.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to foot rim.
