Wedgwood Majolica salt which features a dolphin supporting a shell on its back.
Colouration: green, turquoise, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1888.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to side of shell.
RESTORATION. Retouched flake to rim.
