George Jones Majolica Lily Sweetmeat Dish

Victorian, circa 1870. 5.5ins high, 4.9ins wide, 4.9ins depth. George Jones Majolica sweetmeat dish which features pond lilies and bulrushes. Turquoise ground version.

Colouration: green, brown, white, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior;

a few touch marks to the feet.
