
Victorian, circa 1862. Tallest is 6.1ins high, 3ins wide, 3ins depth. Pair of Minton Majolica candlestick holders which feature twisted columns,
resting on square, footed bases.
Colouration: turquoise, cobalt blue, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1862.
CONDITION: Candlestick 1: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the column.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to three base corners and one foot rebuilt.
Stabilised and retouched hairlines to the sconce, one is still just visible to the side.
